At age 50 I said goodbye to my routine office job and effected a career change that would benefit my desire for independence, growth and improved self esteem.
Whilst traveling overseas, my eldest daughter had searched unsuccessfully for a birthday gift other than flowers to send me. I perceived a much sought after niche in the home wares gift market, and, being passionate about beautifully furnished homes and gardens, was inspired to start my online home and gift store.
SugarSpiceNice commenced in April 2008 and provides busy working people, plus interstate and overseas travellers, with an excellent and secure way to shop on line at any time. Each range features a tantalizing array of high quality products from several retailers at extremely affordable prices.
I have a genuine interest in assisting people to solve their decorating/home furnishing or gift issue in an open, honest and trustworthy manner, whilst at the same time cultivating a loyal customer data base.
My future vision is to expand on the SugarSpiceNice range selection of gorgeous products while continuing to source and showcase unique/designer products from Australian made or designed businesses.
